Elvis Presley spent yesterday in Conway.
No one knew it, however, until he prepared to leave the Town House Motel last night. The hotel personnel didn’t even know it until he was gone.
Presely stopped to rest on his way back to Memphis from a film making trip to California.
It was when Presley signed a check for the food that the restaurant personnel discovered his identity.
Several people shook the star’s hand before he drove away.
