Catholics Returning Home
St. Joseph Church at 1115 College Ave. in Conway is offering a special program designed to help non-practicing Catholics return to the Church. Entitled Catholics Returning Home, this series will be held every Thursday evening from Sept. 12 through Oct. 17. Sessions begin at 7 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m. They will be held in the Parish Administration Office Conference Room.
The six-week series includes such topics as: The Church Today; Explanation of the Mass; Explanation of the Sacrament of Reconciliation; and Explanation of the Nicene Creed. The sessions are free and childcare will be provided.

Donations collected at Eastside Baptist Church
Eastside Baptist Church will be collecting household items, appliances, clothing and personal items for its Third Annual Free For All that will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 14.
Items may be brought to the church, which is located at 1735 E. Oak St., between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7.

Youth Day at Greater Fellowship Christian
Greater Fellowship Christian Church will celebrate Youth Day on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 11 a.m. The theme is “GFCC Youth Praising God...Both Great and Small.”
The guest speaker will be Minister Matthew Gober of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church in Menifee. Greater Fellowship is located at #1 Wildwood Dr. Odie Phillips is pastor and teacher.
Faulkner County Singing Club
The Faulkner County Singing Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Oakland United Methodist Church, E State Highway 287, Holland, Ark.
Shelby Sawrie of Greenbrier is club president.

Homecoming at Christ Temple Holiness
The Christ Temple Holiness Church, located at 868 Willow St., will host a homecoming and mortgage burning on Saturday, Sept. 28, and Sunday, Sept. 29. Activities will begin with a combined choir practice on Saturday at 10 a.m., and outside activities will start at 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday services will begin with Sunday school at 9 a.m. and morning worship will start at 10:05. Elder Rodney Magee (former pastor) of Houston, Texas, will deliver the morning message. Elder Willie L. Owens, Jr. is Pastor of Christ Temple.
Joy of Living
The community-wide ladies Bible study hosted at Cornerstone Bible Church will begin at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. The morning will start with registration and a meet and greet, then at 10, Pastor Mike Ford will open with a welcome and introduction to the Book of Romans.
Joy of Living will meet from 9:15-11 a.m. each Thursday, with Helen Benafield returning as the group wrap-up leader.
