New Beginning Church
What a great day in the Lord we had this past Sunday. We had a wonderful Sunday School lesson and two great services. The message for the morning service was “The Shepherd,” taken from John 10. John 10:10, 11, “The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and they might have it more abundantly. I am the Good Shepherd; the Good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep. Do you hear His voice, are you one of His sheep, or are you one of the unbelievers? He calls out to everyone to follow Him so you can have life everlasting, but not everyone will listen or heed His call. Do not wait till it’s too late and never have that chance again.”
Sunday night was even better, we were all in one accord and the Holy Spirit was moving among us.
Our revival will start this Thursday and go through Saturday, with Bro. Jeff Lewis, starting at 7 each night. We are fasting and praying for a great revival, and we welcome everyone to come and worship with us.
“Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character.”

On Sunday morning, James and Pam Freyaldenhoven hosted a breakfast at their home for the medium adult Sunday school class. Brother Chad taught the group of 17 which then traveled the 2 1/2 miles to the church for morning worship service. I was told the food and fellowship was great!
Brother Chad Brandon then preached a wonderful message from Ephesians 2:1-10 titled “Get Out of The Graveyard.” Paul was calling the people to come to life out of their trespasses and sins. They were dead in their sins. How many things can a dead man do? His condition prevents him from doing anything. He isn’t going to get better but God has the power to raise him from death to life.
God’s compassion meets up with man’s condition in sin, and He gives mercy. He withholds what we rightfully deserve which is death. When one accepts Christ’s mercy and grace he’s brought to life spiritually but is dying physically every day. God has made us to sit in heavenly places with Him. We can’t boast of our position with Christ. We did nothing to deserve it. It is by his grace through faith that we obtain salvation.
After He brings us out of the graveyard we must recognize our responsibility. The product is good works. We’re His workmanship. We’re His poem. He begins the first stanza and continues ending with the conclusion which brings it all together. Thus our life in Christ.
Am I walking in the good works God has for me to do? Spiritually I’m no longer in the graveyard. He’s weaving a poem in mine and your lives if we belong to Him.
We enjoyed a wonderful group of kids Wednesday night and a great adult Bible study. Tomorrow during morning worship Brother Chad will have dedication service for all of the Sunday School teachers for the new church year which begins Sept. 1. We’re thankful for all who are allowing God to use them in this capacity. We need to continue to pray for every teacher and pupil.
We welcome those who join us for worship!
