Dave Williams, 18, telegraph messenger boy, is both happy and puzzled.
About a week ago his bicycle was stolen. Then he received a postcard, unsigned, saying it was in Conway.
“I’m sorry I had to take it, but I just had to get out of town in a hurry,” the writer said. Williams recovered the machine in Conway. That’s why he’s happy.
“But this postcard was mailed at Springfield, Ill. How did that guy get there?” he puzzled.
