Faith and Poverty Lecture Series
The City of Hope Outreach (CoHO) will host its 2013 Hope Institute Lectures: Faith and Poverty, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting Saturday, March 9, at the Hope Institute, 608 E. Robins in Conway.
The Faith and Poverty Lecture Series is designed to bring together students, church leaders, nonprofit leaders, and academicians to learn and discuss issues of faith regarding poverty. Faith plays a critical role regarding a person or organizations approach to the social difficulties of our society.
This year’s lecturers will include:
• Saturday, March 9 - Introduction to Counseling
• Saturday, April 20 - Economics and Gentrification
• Saturday, Oct. 26 - Ethics and Poverty

Faulkner County Singing Club
The Faulkner County Singing Club will meet at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, at Pleasant Hill Church of the Nazarene, 10 miles east of Greenbrier on State Highway 225 located at 193 Johnson Loop in Greenbrier.
