Dedication of new Guy Fire Station
All Guy community residents are invited to the dedication of the new Guy Volunteer Fire Department Fire Station, located at 17 Old Texas Rd.
The dedication will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 9.
It will be an excellent opportunity for the Fire districts’ members to inspect their new sub-station and meet some of their firemen and Board members.
The new sub-station is 6,000 square feet, has a large bay with four large overhead doors. It also has a large training/meeting room with a kitchenette.
Cost of the new building was approximately $155,000. The Guy Volunteer Fire Department received a $20,000 grant toward the new building. Much of the work was donated by local members.
Free hotdogs and hamburgers will be furnished by First Arkansas Bank and Trust.
The Guy Volunteer firemen and Board of Directors are very proud of their new building and hope everyone will come out to take part of the dedication.
