LOG CABIN DEMOCRAT
At the Aquakids Winter Spring Invitational last weekend at the Bob Courtway Pool, the Hendrix Aquakids 11-12 200 freestyle relay team broke the state record with a time of 1:45.83.
The team of Ty Wingfield, Jackson Wiedower, AJ Mainord, and Aaron Rieth set a state record two years ago in the 10-and-under division that still stands.
The meet attracted more than 300 swimmers in 60 events.
Kristina Games won the 8-and-under high point award for girls and Will Sims won it in that division for the boys. Angelina Ke won the 9-10 high-point award for girls and Nicholas Heye won it for the boys. Allie Rogers won the 11-12 high point award for the girls and AJ Mainord winning for the boys.
