The teachers of the primary building, Mrs. Traylor, Mrs. Scales, Mrs. Cone, Mrs. Wheat and Miss Stephens, were hostesses for the Conway Faculty Club Monday evening at 7:30. After a short business meeting Mrs. Traylor presented Charlie Spain in a review of Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and Mrs. W.O. Scales in a review of Tressler’s “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.” Refreshments were served during a social hour following the program.

Paul Brown, until recently the coach of the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League, and Mrs. Brown returned to Cleveland today after visiting their son, Robin Brown, and his family.
Brown was coach of the Cleveland club 17 years and is still under contract as a vice-president.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Joe Morris of Conway are parents of a daughter, Mallory Jo, born Wednesday (Jan. 13, 1988) at Conway Regional Hospital. The baby weighed 10 pounds, one-half ounce. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth F. Morris of Conway and Ronnie and Renae Vernado of Groveland, Fla. Great-grandparents are Sylvia Owens of Conway and Billie Howard, Wilbur Vernado and Nita Bell Tyson, all of Groveland.

Bishop J. Peter Sartain, the spiritual leader of the Catholic Church in Arkansas, recently visited the St. Joseph Primary School. He was there to bless the chapel of the child Jesus, which had recently been established in the school to serve kindergarten through fourth-grade students.
