Get ready to start 2013 off right with two new innovative Ladies Bible Classes at University Church of Christ on Dave Ward Drive. If you are looking for great food, wonderful fellowship and some intense, meaningful Bible Study, this is the place for you! We will begin two studies with one being on Wednesday night and one on Tuesday mornings. The first study is 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, called “Jonah: Navigating a Life Interrupted,” by Priscilla Shirer. Our class leader is Ruth Castleberry. This study focuses on women and the impossibility of escaping life’s interruptions and time limitations. However, you can change your perspective on how you react to them. Dive into the study of Jonah and discover that what you see as an interruption may truly be GOD’S divine invitation to a life so much bigger than you can imagine. Join us for this study of Jonah, we’ll have a “whale” of a time. Child care is provided.
Another wonderful opportunity will be our Tuesday morning Ladies Bible Study series from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., which starts on Tuesday, Jan. 15. We will begin one of the greatest adventures in a study of the true great: “JESUS The One and Only” by Beth Moore. Dr. Tammy Benson will be facilitating this weekly study. This study of JESUS’ life, taken from the book of Luke, calls you to get to know JESUS intimately.... as though you had walked with HIM during HIS days of earthly ministry. Breakfast and child care are provided during this study time. Several potlucks are also included that include some really great food and fellowship. If you are looking for some wonderful fellowship with women and a time of deeply devotional study, please join us for one of these studies which have lots of life application at the University Church of Christ on Dave Ward Drive.
