Ladies' Night Out slated for Thursday

Posted: October 22, 2012 - 7:14pm

The Conway Symphony Orchestra Guild will host Ladies’ Night Out Thursday in conjunction with the 2012 Symphony Designer House.

The event will be held at 1005 Edinburgh and 1025 Edinburgh in the new Turnberry subdivision located off Prince Street.

Ladies’ Night Out will feature demonstrations by local artists Ardyn Boyce and Bonnie McKay. There will be food and drinks served. Tickets at $20 each can be purchased online at conwaysymphonyorchestra.org or at the door.

Guests will also have a chance to win one Honora multi-strand freshwater pearl bracelet and one Honora sterling silver ring with white freshwater pearl and white topaz stack ring. Tickets are $10 or three for $25 and can be purchased at the designer house, at Fletcher Smith’s Jewelers, or by contacting Allison Vetter at (501) 733-3208 or Katherine Thomason at (501) 428-0349.

Tickets will also be sold at the door at the beginning of the event.

The designer homes will remain open for tours Tuesdays through Sundays, Oct. through Nov. 9. The homes are closed Mondays.

Tickets are available for day tours with discounts for groups, plus a run of show pass for unlimited visits. A wine tasting will also be held Thursday, Nov. 1.

The Designer House, held every other year, is the major fundraising event for the Conway Symphony Guild, and all proceeds benefit the educational and outreach programs of the symphony.

To be involved in the Designer House event as a volunteer, contact Paige Revis at paigerevis@hotmail.com or Lisa Winbourne at lisawinbourne@gmail.com.
