NAPLES, Fla. — Jeanne L. Seewald, daughter of Gene and Jewel Loveless of Conway, has been elected president of the Collier County Bar Association in Naples, Fla. Jeanne is the managing partner of the Southwest Florida offices of the law firm Hahn Loeser & Parks LLP. The Collier County Bar Association is the countywide professional organization of lawyers.
Seewald recently was named one of the Top 50 Women Florida Super Lawyers. She practices law in the areas of intellectual property and business transactions.
She currently serves as Vice-Chair of The Florida Bar Intellectual Property Law Board Certification Committee. She also is a member of the board of directors of the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce and editorial board of Gulfshore Business (2004-2012). She formerly served as President of the Collier County Women’s Bar Association and was named attorney of the year by that organization in 2007.
She is listed in the 2006-13 editions of The Best Lawyers in America (Administrative/Regulatory Law, Copyright Law, Intellectual Property Litigation, Mergers & Acquisitions Law, and Trademark Law), the 2010 & 2011 editions of “Florida’s Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine, and the 2007-12 editions of Florida Super Lawyers. Seewald received her J.D., with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law in 1992, an MBA from the University of Central Arkansas in 1984, and a B.A. from Hendrix College in 1980.
