Cinco De Mayo Fiesta for a Cause is planned for 6-10 p.m. Thursday at Backacher’s Ranch Equestrian Center.
The event is the largest fundraiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Central Arkansas.
Entertainment will be by Breaking Eden. Food is fiesta inspired.
Proceeds are used to recruit new volunteers to serve children, pay for background screenings and reference checks and monitor relationships between volunteers and children.
Children who have mentors do better in school, avoid drugs and violence and have more self-confidence.
