St. Joseph thrashed Little Rock Lutheran during a sweep on Tuesday in conference action.
The St. Joseph boys ran away with a 57-27 victory, and the Lady Bulldogs romped their way to a 51-13 win.
The Bulldogs (14-2, 3-1) were led in scoring by Wade Beck’s 15 points. Tyler Jones scored 12 points. Zach Hambuchen and Marcus Kordsmeier scored six and five points, respectively. Kordsmeier also led the team in assists and steals, with seven and five. Matt Lowe ended with three assists. Both Hambuchen and Grant Smith finished with five rebounds apiece.
“It was a solid game for us,” St. Joseph coach Brent Bruich said. “I thought we executed on both ends of the floor especially since we haven’t played in a while. Our bench came and contributed greatly tonight.”
The Lady Bulldogs (15-1, 4-0) received a team-high 11 points from Heather Moix and Brooke Enderlin. Moix also added seven rebounds and Enderlin five steals. Jessie Moix finished with 10 pints and five steals.
“I thought the girls executed and played well after a lengthy layoff,” St. Joseph coach Chris Kordsmeier said. “It was a good complete game both offensively and defensively for the girls.”
ST. JOSEPH JUNIOR GIRLS
MOUNT VERNON — The St. Joseph junior girls were too much for Guy-Perkins in Wednesday’s action of the Faulkner County Tournament.
The Junior Lady Bulldogs netted a 33-13 win to improve to 10-4 on the season.
Meagan Briggler led with eight points and four rebounds for St. Joseph. Morgan Kordsmeier added six points, as did Abby Kordsmeier, who also had three steals. Rachel Ross finished with four points and four rebounds, while Rachel Briggler added four points and four steals.
CONWAY WHITE BOYS
Conway White remained undefeated in Central Arkansas Junior High Conference play with a 47-44 win over Morrilton on Thursday night.
Tim Boyd led the Kittens (10-3, 6-0) wih 30 points. DeSean Turner added eight.
Conway White returns to action Monday at Searcy.

ATKINS — The Conway Christian junior girls held off Atkins 26-14 Thursday night.
Claire Hobbs led the Junior Lady Eagles with seven points. Sarah Nekonchuk added six, while Madison Leach had five.
