Arkansas Hospice Conway has announced a chili luncheon to be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, at Arkansas Hospice Conway, 1014 Markham Street, Suite 1.
Staff from the Conway office have organized this luncheon to help raise funds for the upcoming trip to Zimbabwe to work with the groups African Hospice Partners who visited this past February.
The luncheon costs $5, and attendees can choose from a variety of chili, cornbread, crackers, drinks and dessert.
Nine people, both staff and volunteers from Arkansas Hospice, will make the trip to Zimbabwe at the end of May to assist the partner hospice, Seke Rural Community Hospice, with a variety of tasks ranging from database coordination to patient care.
Each traveler is responsible for a portion of the trip costs, but the chili luncheon will help ease the price of airfare and other expenses.
Contact Sam Franklin, Conway office coordinator, at 328-5400 for more information.
