Maynard Joseph Teed
Maynard Joseph Teed, 62, of Higden, died Nov. 9, 2009.
He was born May 4, 1947, in Omaha, Neb., to Maynard Amos and Violet Teed.
He was a member of the U.S. Navy/Army National Guard and was a Vietnam veteran, with 33 years of service to his country.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Marjorie Jean Teed of Higden; sons, Eric Joseph Teed of Cabot and Kristopher Michael Teed and wife Natalie Rae Teed of Conway; grandchildren, Thomas Craig Teed of Cabot, Amanda Francis Teed of Virginia Beach, Va., Mason Ray Teed and Sydnie Claire Teed of Conway.
Other survivors include his sister, Melanie Davidson of El Paso; along with a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Bishop-Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Jeremy Miller Officiating.
Special speakers will be Allen Lawrence, Lynn Bowie and John Bartlett. Burial will follow at 2 p.m. in the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be John Bartlett, Bill Bain, Allen Lawrence, Dennis Bradley, Terry Jarrett and Larry Page.
