Obituary: Naomi Frances Shoemaker

Naomi Frances Shoemaker

Naomi Frances Shoemaker, 97, died Nov. 7.  She was the wife of the late Gath Noland Shoemaker, with whom she owned and operated a cattle and poultry farm in Conway for many years.  

She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Conway.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin F. and Olivia Richard; a sister, Mable Kessler; two brothers, Gordon Richard and Frank Richard Jr.; and two stepsons, Stephen Bruce Shoemaker and H. Holden Shoemaker.

She is survived by two sisters, Margaret Brown of North Little Rock and Wilma Bearden of Cabot; a stepdaughter-in-law, Anna Shoemaker of Bryant; three step-grandchildren, Kirk Orth of Omaha, Neb., Holden Lynn Shoemaker of Bryant and Terry Noland Shoemaker of Sherwood; and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
