All five Faulkner County football teams will begin the state high school playoffs this weekend, three of them going on the road.
Greenbrier and Conway Christian will host first-round games.
The matchups:
7A
Conway, which earned the fifth seed from the Central Conference, will play at Fayetteville, the fourth seed from the West. The winner will play at Cabot, the top seed from the Central, in the quarterfinals.
5A
Greenbrier, which earned the second seed from the West, will host Little Rock Mills, the No. 3 seed from the Southeast. The winner will play the Forrest City/Little Rock Christian winner in the quarterfinals.
Vilonia, the No. 4 seed from the West, will play at Southeast champion Monticello. The Winner will play the Greene County Tech/Blytheville winner in the quarterfinals.
3A
Mayflower, the No. 3 seed from 2-3A, will play at Lavaca, the No. 3 seed from 1-3A. The winner will play West champ Prescott.
2A
Conway Christian, which tied Mountain Pine from second polace in 5-2A but is the No. 3 seed, will host Cross County, the No. 4 seed from 3-2A. The winner will play the Danville/Johnson County Westside winner.
