Molder sixth in Arizona event

Former Conway High golfer Bryce Molder fired a 7-under 63 in the final round Sunday to surge from 19th place to finish in a tie for sixth with Mike Weir in the Fys.com Open at Grayhawk Golf Club at Scottsdale, Ariz.
Molder, who had already secured his PGA Tour card for next year, finished with a 15-under 265 and earned $173,750.
Troy Matteson, a former teammate of Molder’s at Georgia Tech, won the event at 18-under 262.
