CircuitCourt: Nine have pretrials set

The following persons made first appearance at Faulkner County Circuit Court on Monday:

• Beth Harness, 47, 10 Willow Lake Road, Cabot, according to a Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office jail intake report. Failure to appear for court proceedings relating to 2007 filing a false report and failure to stop after an accident charges. Harness was released on her own recognizance. Pretrial was set for Nov. 19. No public defender was appointed.

• Jack C. Small, 49, 6 Elizabeth St., Vilonia, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Two counts each possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500. Pretrial was set for Nov. 19. Public defender Lynn Plemmons was appointed.

• Jennifer Anne Phillips, 26, 1931 Hairston Ave. Conway, according to a FCSO jail intake report. First-degree domestic battering. Bond was set at $25,000. Pretrial was set for Nov. 19. No public defender was appointed.

• Ryan James Anderson, 37, 5002 Southwest Golden Eagle Avenue, Bentonville, according to Anderson’s statements in court, 5002 Southwest Golden Eagle Avenue, Vilonia, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Aggravated assault, fleeing, failure to stop after an accident. Bond was set at $20,000. Pretrial was set for Nov. 19. No public defender was appointed.

• Danny Ray Baker, 59, 1831 Nutters Chapel Road, Conway, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Assault on a family/household member, third-degree domestic battering. Bond was set at $5,000. Pretrial was set for Nov. 30. No public defender was appointed.

• Jesse Lee Clark, 30, 46 Dan Road, Mayflower, according to a FCSO jail intake report. A review of several maps does not indicate a Dan road in or near Mayflower, though the phone number Clark gave the court matches an address at 46 Dam Road, Mayflower. Theft by receiving. Bond was set at $2,500. Pretrial was set for Dec. 10. Public defender Danny Rasmussen was appointed.

• Tamara Ann Groth, 50, 149 Jones Lake Road, Ethel, Ark., according to a FCSO jail intake report. Class-Y felony possession of a controlled substance and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstructing government operations. Bond was set at $50,000. Pretrial was set for Dec. 10. Public defender B. Keith Faulkner was appointed.

• Jessie L. Garrett, 24, 3714 Highway 64 West, Conway, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Third-degree domestic battering, aggravated assault upon an employee of a correctional facility, resisting arrest. Bond was set at $50,000. Pretrial was set for Dec. 10. Public defender Boyd “Skip” Tackett was appointed.

• Ricky Glen Huey, 52, 5 Simmons Drive, Vilonia, according to a FCSO jail intake report. Ten counts theft of property. Bond was set at $2,500. Pretrial was set for Dec. 10. No public defender was appointed.
