Garside-Rooney

Lori Garside of Gentry and Bryan Rooney of Guy have announced their engagement and forthcoming wedding.

The bride-elect is the daughter or Mr. and Mrs. Leonard and Lynn Garside of Gentry. She is a 2005 graduate of Gentry High School. She attends the University of Central Arkansas on a track scholarship and will graduate December 2009. Currently, she is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha. 

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel and Sherry Rooney of Guy. He is a 2004 graduate of Guy-Perkins High School. He will graduate from the University of Central Arkansas in May 2010. He is a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church where he leads worship music.  He also leads worship at Fellowship Bible Church in Conway.  He does youth and camp ministry. Currently, he is employed at Surgical Associates of Conway and interns at Ruth Doyle Middle School.

The wedding is set to take place at 3 p.m. Dec. 19, 2009. The site of the ceremony is the Greenbrier Church of the Nazarene, with reception to follow at the church.
