Sonshine Academy is pleased to announce the addition of Audrey Dimond to our preschool and school-age gymnastics staff.  Audrey earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.  She has been involved with the sport of gymnastics for the past 20 years as a competitor and coach.  Audrey trained in gymnastics and dance for 13 years in Arkadelphia and then pursued competitive cheerleading.  She began her teaching career at the West side YMCA in Little Rock, teaching tumbling and cheer classes.  For the past five years she has taught gymnastics at Durham’s School of Gymnastics in Springdale.

Audrey also worked at The New School in Fayetteville as an after school staff, substitute teacher and camp counselor.  Her education and infectious enthusiasm and love for children make her an especially gifted gymnastics instructor.
