JC Thornton and Company announced its top listing agent for July 2009. The recipient of this award is Debbie Stobaugh. 

She came to JC Thornton and Company earlier this year and thoroughly enjoys working with her clients. 

Debbie has recently been actively assisting several first-time homebuyers.

Stobaugh is a member of the Arkansas Realtors Association, Faulkner County Board of Realtors and University Church of Christ.  

Brenda Webb has been named employee of the month at American Management Corporation for September. 

She serves as the main receptionist for AMC.  Webb lives in Conway and has been with the company since 2008.

James S. Renk was recently named president of National Bank of Arkansas.   

Renk, a resident of Sherwood and a UCA Bears Fan looks forward to participating in Conway’s Chamber of Commerce and other community events.  Renk’s community involvement includes board member of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce, board member and finance chairman of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas and member and past president of Camp Robinson Community Council.

Renk’s 31 years of banking experience includes branch management, operations, investments, data processing, lending and community president. Originally from Milwaukee, Renk spent 17 years in Texas banking prior to relocating to Central Arkansas in 1997. Past affiliations were chairman of the board of the Arkansas Better Business Bureau, board member of the Sherwood Chamber of Commerce and member of North Little Rock Rotary. Renk is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee with a political xcience degree.  

Renk is married with two sons, both of whom attend UCA. Steven is a senior graduating in August with a degree in Mass Communications, and Brian, a sophomore, who is entering the Arkansas National Guard to become a combat medic, will return to UCA in 2010.

Ryan Johnson recently joined the staff at Central Baptist College as our new PACE coordinator for marketing and recruitment. Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Lyon College and a master’s degree in training systems from the University of Central Arkansas. Johnson is a resident of Vilonia and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Conway.
