Clovis Gene Freeman

Clovis Gene Freeman, 77, of Leslie, passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at his home. He was born April 11, 1932, in Chimes, to the late George Allen and Mary Frances Ramsey Freeman.

Clovis was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 41 years, Emma Jane Pruitt Freeman; five brothers; and one sister.

He is survived by two sons, Gregory Lynn Freeman and wife Rebecca of Russellville and Rex Allen Freeman and wife Leslie of Bee Branch; two daughters, Geree Gale Brock and husband Albert of Chimes and Robin Michelle Biggs and husband Bill of Chimes; seven grandchildren, Morgan, Randy, Dalton, Jeremy, Heather, Russell and Kyle; four great-grandchildren, Jordan, Loralei, Ivan and Lindsey; one sister, Reba Housley of Dover; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of Roller McNutt Funeral Home of Clinton.
