Chandler: Heaven or Hell? It’s your call

Good morning brothers and sisters. This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Amen…

The subject that God put on my heart for today was an eye opening and a heart conviction for me. What I want to do is start off by telling you some things about Heaven.

Heaven is a place where God, Christ, The Holy Spirit and the Angels live. Things that are lacking in Heaven are marriage, death, flesh and blood, sorrow, pain, curse, night, and wicked people. The positive things of Heaven are joy, rest, peace, righteousness, service, reward, inheritance, and glory.

And who is going to enter into Heaven is the righteous, the changed people, people that are called, the over-comers, those who are written in The Lambs Book of Life, the obedient, and the holy ones. Now this place called hell, the place of eternal torment. It is described as everlasting fire, everlasting punishment, outer darkness, everlasting destruction, lake of fire, it’s for the wicked, the disobedient, the fallen angels, the beast and the false prophets, worshipers of the beast, and those who reject the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We can also say these are two places that we will spend eternity after this life here on earth. Yes, my brothers and sisters, each one of us are going to spend eternity in one or the other place. All I’m trying to say is there are two places to go after you are dead and gone from this side of life.

So I beg you to make the right call. I hear people say how can a good God send people to hell? Well, God doesn’t send people to hell. People send themselves there. God wouldn’t be a good God if He didn’t punish sin. A lot of people don’t know hell was made for satan and the fallen angels who disobeyed God in Heaven. You see, hell was never meant for us. Question? Are you a disobedient child to God?

Are you doing your own thing and not the things of God? Are you living your life pleasing yourself and not pleasing to God? Once again, people send themselves to hell. How?

By disobeying God. God didn’t leave us without an escape plan from hell. He sent His one and only Son, Jesus who died a painful death so we don’t have to experience that place called hell. Brothers and sisters, God truly loves us and He wants the best for us and that’s Heaven.

The price is already paid. And that price was paid by Jesus when He died and got up out of the grave in three days and is sitting at the right hand of Almighty God in Heaven. So what will it be? Heaven or hell? It’s your call. Amen… I want to give a shout-out to my oldest grandchild, Deondre Antone Smith.

I’m so proud of you for graduating from high school and I pray that your schooling will continue to further your education. You are my first grandchild to graduate from high school and I pray that you will be successful in life.

Whatever you do, take God with you because He loves you and just like me, He wants the best for you. Once again, I’m so proud to have a grandson like you. I’ll see you May 21st, 2017 at the Farris Center at UCA!

May God bless and continue to guide you. Love you, your Grandpa. Amen
