College Radio Day celebrated at Hendrix

Hendrix College President Bill Tsutsui conducted his radio show for College Radio Day alongside Hendrix student and KHDX-FM station manager Jacob Turner Oct. 6

The student-run radio station on campus observed the radio day, an international celebration of the more than 400 college radio stations worldwide with a 24-hour live broadcast.

The day featured special guests, like Tsutsui, and unique shows titled “The 10-Watt Tower for 24 Hours.”

Other guest for the day included music critic and National Public Radio correspondent Ann Powers.
