Students learn about importance of helping in community

St. Joseph Preschool teachers recently showed their three and four year old students the importance of community helpers.

The school invited two service-oriented employees to explain their work.

EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Trish Cullum and U.S. Postal Carrier Katie Peacock each brought their vehicles for the children to explore.

“These women shared the importance of their jobs and what’s important for the children to know,” teaching assistant Amy Evans said. “They also supplied coloring books for them.”
