Students at Westside Elementary in Greenbrier welcomed a guest to the school recently.

Bill Beavers, a technology specialist from Arch Ford Coop, visited with students in Rebecca Barnard’s class to provide training on using the 3-D printer.

“Mr. Beavers provided training on creating images using computer software and how to transfer that image to the 3-D printer,” the school website stated.

The students in the training will go on to help students in other classes learn about the printer’s capabilities so they can apply that knowledge to using the new 3-D printer in the school’s STEAM lab.
