Youth group volunteers at middle school

Members of the Immanuel Baptist Church youth group recently lent a hand at Greenbrier Middle School.

“GMS would like to thank many of the volunteers from Immanuel Baptist’s youth group who recently volunteered their time to help pack food boxes for our summer food deliveries,” the school’s website reads.

GMS officials said through the help of the volunteers, the school was able to deliver boxes of food to GMS families each week throughout the summer.

Through the past several weeks, members of the church also collected some of the food items to help contribute to the boxes as well.

“GMS appreciates the support from our community as we work to make a difference in our student’s lives,” the website states.
