Vilonia middle school donates to veterans museum

Veteran Harold Clevinger, representative of the Museum of Veterans and Military History in Vilonia, was given $450, by fourth graders at Frank Mitchell Intermediate School, to help with museum projects.

Fourth graders at Frank Mitchell Intermediate School collected pennies and presented Harold Clevinger, representing the Museum of Veterans and Military History in Vilonia, a check, Friday, for $450.

The money will go to building an outdoor chapel/educational facility where veterans may have their memorial services at no cost, Clevinger told the students. A Korean veteran, Clevinger thanked the students for the donation and invited them to tour.

Wide range of perspectives to lead UA AD search
