Investigators locate sex offender

With help from public tips, the Faulkner County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 45-year-old man who failed to register as a sex offender.

Earlier this week the sheriff’s office reached out to the community for help locating Robert Waddle, a level 2 registered sex offender, who failed to complete his six-month residency verification.

Spokesman Adam Bledsoe said FCSO was able to locate Waddle near Greenbrier.

“Investigators determined Waddle was living at an address he had not registered in the Greenbrier area,” he said. “Waddle was located with the help of the citizens of Faulkner County.”

Waddle faces failure to appear and failure to register as a registered sex offender charges. He is currently being held in the county jail on a $3,097 bond. A court date has not yet been set.

Sheriff Tim Ryals said he appreciates the community’s assistance in helping locate suspects who are trying to evade apprehension.

Bledsoe said residents are encouraged to anonymously report suspicious activity or locations of known fugitives online at www.fcso.ar.gov under the “CRIME TIPS” link, which is located at the top right of the home page.
