The Conway Police Department promoted eight officers, it announced Wednesday.

The Conway Police Department promoted eight officers, officials announced Wednesday.

 

“It’s an honor to be able to publicly recognize the promotions of these officers,” CPD Chief Jody Spradlin said. “I trust that their years of experience and leadership skills will provide the supervision that we need to maintain the high standards of police service that we’ve grown to expect.”

Officers James Mitchell, Jeremy Holliman, Andrew Burningham and Melissa Smith were promoted to the rank of sergeant.

Officers Monte Matthews, Lee Wood and Mark Mushrush were promoted to the rank of lieutenant.

Officer Chris Harris was promoted to the rank of major.

“I look forward to seeing the impact each of them has on our department and community,” Spradlin said.
