The city of Conway, Department of Sanitation and Conway Corporation have teamed up to make residents’ trips to the landfill a little faster.
Currently, residents are required to provide landfill attendants with proof of residency by showing their Conway Corporation bill and a picture ID when delivering solid waste to the city’s landfill.
Soon residents will be able to verify residency with their smartphones through the use of the MyConwayCorp app.
This app allows for digital documentation. This is meant to provide a level of convenience, reduce wait times for customers, as well as reduce the amount of paper required to print Conway Corp bills.
To access the service, residents should follow the directions below:
1. Download the MyConwayCorp app through your iPhone or Android device.
2. Register your account.
3. Once you have arrived at the Conway Landfill, Open your MyConwayCorp App.
4. Select “My Account.”
5. At the bottom of the app, select “Landfill.”
6. Then select “Generate Code.”
7. Inform the landfill attendant of your code.
“We are very excited about this new service,” Sanitation Director Joe Hopper said. “With the technology that is available today, we were able to provide a more convenient and ‘greener’ way of doing business with our residents. In collaboration with Conway Corporation, our department has improved customer service and decreased paper waste through the MyConwayCorp App.”
