Hideaway Pizza has opened its second Arkansas location, which is at 1170 S. Amity Road at Lewis Crossing in Conway.

It celebrated the grand opening in Conway on Nov. 13.

The store is 7,162-square-feet and the largest location with 48 tables and seating for 214 people.

The restaurant features a rotating menu of more than 20 specialty and seasonal pizzas, or a build-your-own option with more than 40 ingredients.

The location in Conway will feature curbside to-go service with designated parking, a covered patio and a selection of craft beer on tap, including local brews from Core Brewing Co., Diamond Bear Brewing Co., Lost Forty Brewing and Stone’s Throw Brewing.

Founders Richard Dermer and his wife Marti started the pizza chain in 1957 near the Oklahoma State University campus in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

From there, the company has expanded to 18 locations with the North Little Rock location being the first outside of Oklahoma.

The Conway location became the second location outside of Oklahoma.

Conway’s general manager Rob Crissinger said the company is happy to be in Conway, and has struck up a partnership with the University of Central Arkansas athletic department.

Crissinger also said each location has a mural on a wall paying, homage to its location.

The hours of operation are from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
