Mainstream Technologies hires service engineer

Mainstream Technologies announced the hiring of Pat Thomas as Tier II Service Engineer on March 10.

Thomas will serve as technical leader for Mainstream’s day-to-day IT client support operation.

His responsibilities will include working with clients for support, troubleshooting and resolution of issues across multiple sites and locations.

Thomas has 13 years of experience, more recently with Acxiom, where he provided general application support, migration and end user solutions.

Prior to that, he served at InteliStaf Healthcare and Connect Communications Corporation in diverse capacities including general hardware and software support, resolving end user issues, internal data center build out (wiring, racks, cable management, etc.) and server installation and maintenance.

He has a certificate in Computers and Information Systems from Pulaski Tech and is close to earning an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences, as well.

Thomas is currently the president of the Faulkner County Amateur Radio Club and is also an NOAA Skywarm Certified Severe Weather Spotter.

“We are very excited to have Pat join our Mainstream family and help us expand our Managed Services offering,” Vice President of IT Mark McClelland said. “He adds to the diversity of our staff and brings many additional years of experience to the team.”
