’The Little Mermaid the Ballet’

“The Little Mermaid the Ballet” is set Saturday, Jan. 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas.

Blackbird Academy of Arts presents this original ballet based on Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved story, “The Little Mermaid.” The whole family is invited to attend. Go to http://www.blackbirdacademy.org/ for ticketing information.

Gun and Knife Show

Singing Club

The Faulkner County Singing Club invites the public to join for congregational singing at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, at Lifesong Baptist Church at 56 S. Broadview St. in Greenbrier. Service Fair

The Faulkner County Library invites community members and service providers to its annual Service Fair on Saturday, Jan. 29, from 1 to 4 p.m.

The Service Fair is an opportunity to connect with community members, for organizations to recruit volunteers and new members, and for those organizations to reach out to people in need.

The Service Fair will be a conduit between organizations and the public at large.
