LCD oil spill doc to screen at Little Rock Film Festival

A little over a year after the Mayflower Oil Spill, a documentary prepared by the Log Cabin Democrat has been accepted into the Little Rock Film Festival.

“An Uncertain Bill Of Health,” directed and edited by Eric White and produced and written by Courtney Spradlin, shows the contrast between some agencies and their beliefs on the effects of the spill and some residents who have dealt with health issues.

White, who is the videographer for the Log Cabin, said work on the 34-minute documentary took about six months. “Although I have worked on other short films at this length, this is the first documentary of this scope that I have tackled.”

The film was available online to those with access. It will be available again following its screening at the festival, which will be May 12-18 in various locations around Little Rock.
