Greenbrier man dies in one-car accident

A Greenbrier man died in a one-car accident late Tuesday night, according to state police reports.

Steven Ray Clayton, 33, of Greenbrier was driving south on Clinton Mountain Road at about 9:55 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. The car left the roadway and struck an embankment, turning the car on its right side. Clayton was ejected from the vehicle.

He was transported to UAMS where he was pronounced dead at 12:52 a.m. Wednesday morning.

According to the police report, conditions were clear and dry.

Hiland completes OEM investigation; postpones releasing findings
