Jack stolen from car's trunk, then used to steal tire

A woman called police to report that the tire on her car had been stolen, and the car was still on the jack when she made the discovery.

According to a Conway police report, the woman told police that she parked her car near her apartment on Fendley Drive at about 5 p.m. on Monday. She did not return to the car until the next morning. She told officers that she left the car unlocked.

When she returned to the car, she noticed that someone had removed the jack from her trunk and used it to lift the car and take her driver's side tire and wheel. She indicated that the lug wrench and the tire and wheel were the only items missing from the car.
