A 15-year-old male student at Conway Junior High was found with a small amount of suspected marijuana Wednesday, police said.
A school resource officer and an assistant principal escorted the student to a private location after police received an anonymous tip the boy might be in possession of marijuana.
When asked if there was anything in his possession that he should not have at school, the boy replied no, the police report states.
The boy was then asked to take off his shoes and socks, at which point a piece of aluminum foil fell out of his left sock. Police said a small amount of suspected marijuana was found inside the aluminum foil.
The boy told police he was holding it for another student, and had no idea what was inside the aluminum foil.
The boy was cited and released to his mother. The student also received an out-of-school suspension.
Police said the suspected marijuana was entered into evidence to be sent to the State Crime Lab for testing. No further action was taken, the police report states.
