A Conway man says his computer and a bag was stolen from him when he mysteriously fell asleep Sunday.
The 25-year-old victim said he was with a friend at McDonald's, eating breakfast around noon, when he "fell unconscious somehow and woke up (Monday) around 9 a.m.," the police report states. The victim said he awoke in his friend's car, in her garage.
The victim told police he was not sure how he fell asleep. When asked if he had taken any drugs that may have caused him to pass out, the victim told police he had not.
The victim said he could hear people talking inside the house, located in the 3500 block of Cutter Ridge Road, but was unable to have anyone answer the door.
After knocking for an extended period of time, the victim said a "very large, bald, white male with tattoo sleeves," that he did not know, answered the door, and asked for the password to his laptop.
The victim said he refused to give his password, which caused the man to become angry and attempt to punch him. The victim said he was able to avoid the man's punch, and walked next door to call police.
The victim returned to the home afterward, and told the man that he had alerted police. The victim said the man then returned his laptop and other property.
Police told the victim to notify officers if he found any other property to be missing, or learned the identity of the man.
