Library asking for donation of books for sale

The Friends of Faulkner County Libraries request book donations for the Friends’ fall book sale Friday, Oct. 4 from 6-8:30 p.m. and Saturday Oct. 5 from 9-5 p.m. You must be a member of Friends to shop at the Friday evening sale. Get a membership form from any county library or log on to the libraries’ website at www.fcl.org and print the Friends’ last newsletter. The membership form is included in the newsletter.

Donated books may be delivered to the main library in Conway or to branch libraries in Greenbrier, Mayflower, Mount Vernon, Twin Groves, and Vilonia. Friends would also appreciate your donations of magazines, music and other media for use at the libraries or for the sale.

For large book donations or if you are unable to bring your books to the library, call the library at 501-327-7482 for pick-up. Donations to the Friends are tax deductible.

Friends also request donations of plastic Kroger grocery bags for the sale. Please bring your plastic bags to the main library or any branch for use in the sale.

Want to volunteer to set up the sale? Call the Conway Public Library at 501-327-7482 or email judy@fcl.org for more information
