Mayflower Waterworks issues boil order

According to information released by Mayflower Waterworks on Wednesday, water customers living east of the U.S. Highway 89 South of Lake Conway fishing bridge are under a boil order for water used for human consumption, including drinking water and water used for cooking, following a break in a four-inch water main.

Customers affected by the boil order include those living between 95 Highway 89 South and 213B Highway 89 South on Arkla Dock Road, Narans Road, Beechwood Lane, North Harrell Road, Bivens Lane, O’Neil Lane, Candlewood Lane, Pecan Lake, Doolittle Road, Ray Lane, Dougan Drive, South Harrell Road, Forrester Drive, Stave Mill Lane, Mallard Cove and Zachary Lane.

The boil order will remain in effect until water samples taken July 8-9 are deemed safe by the Arkansas Department of Health.
