Don’t die without Jesus in your life

Posted: March 3, 2011 - 7:36pm

So many have died and trusted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They believe Jesus is the Son of God and they call on His name.

The Bible says “whosoever calls on the name of Jesus will be saved” (Romans 10:13). Then again, there are many who have died without calling on Jesus and who have never trusted Him as their Lord and Savior who never believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

Some of you may be saying I’m always running my mouth about Jesus and that He alone can save us. Well, that’s right, and I will continue to talk about the One (Jesus) who can save us, who died and shed His precious blood so we may be called the righteous of God and so we may have a ticked to Heaven. But there are many other reasons why He shed His blood. So read your Bible and go to Church that’s teaching the word of God, so you can learn of Jesus, God’s one and only begotten son.

The title God gave me, “Don’t Die Without Jesus,” is something God laid on my heart when I was walking on the walking trail on Salem Road. God’s spirit says so many people have died and are dying and going to that place called Hell simply because they didn’t know my Son (Jesus) was and is the only way to Heaven.

Now when I say dying that means physically and spiritually. Some think they can work their way to Heaven and some think they can be good and get their way into Heaven. Believe it or not some think they can even give their way into Heaven. And some also think that going to church every time the doors are open will get them into Heaven.

Don’t misunderstand, all those things are good. But your trust should be in one person and that person is Jesus. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the light. No one can come to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6).

That’s why we should go to church and read our Bible, so we can learn of God and His ways. The Bible also says, “forsake not the assembly of yourself. That means to go to Church and be around believers” (Hebrew 10:25).

When God tells us to do something it’s not to help Him it’s to help us, it’s for our benefit. Matthew 7:13 reads: “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.”

Now if you stay on that broad road and you die without Jesus, there is no way you can get into Heaven. You will never have another opportunity to see Jesus or your loved ones who are in Heaven. So get it right now.

I know some don’t believe there is a Heaven or a Hell but the Bible speaks of both places. And both places are real and each and every one of us have to go to one or the other.

Someone asked me how can such a loving God send someone to that place called Hell burning with fire and brimstone forever. Guess what, He doesn’t, and He won’t. You are sending yourself there.

The Bible lets us know that life and death is in the power of the tongue. You can choose life and not death, the ball is in your court. That means you will enter into Heaven or Hell, in a good place which is Heaven or in a bad place called Hell. There is no in between.

This reincarnation stuff is a lie from the pits of Hell. The devil is a lie. The Bible doesn’t teach on reincarnation. Brothers and sisters, all I’m trying to say is put your trust in Jesus while you are alive on this earth, ask Him to save you before it’s too late.

The Bible says that its appointed for men to die once then after death, judgement. We all have to die someday and stand before Jesus, our Lord and Savior. So I ask you to be ready, without Christ in your life you are on your on.

In closing, I just want to end with this. What I’m writing about may not concern you. You may already be saved, and I thank God that you are. This writing is for those who are not saved, who have never accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who have never been baptized in Jesus name.

My son, Marcus Jr., went to be with the Lord Jesus in 2003 at the age of 20 years. And people always say I’m sorry to hear that, well thanks for your concern.

By the way he died with Jesus as his Lord and Savior. I will be with him in Heaven one day. Can you say the same thing about you and your loved ones? Once again, please don’t die without Jesus in your life.

Amen.

Why would a loving God send anyone to hell?

God has given us free will. We choose to accept the gift He has offered or we choose to deny that gift, but it is our choice.

God loves you and does not want anyone to go to hell. God could have just as easily left us with no hope, but He didn't. John 3:16 says "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:17 says "For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved."

There is nothing that you nor I can do to earn this gift. God has offered it to us freely. Ephesians 2:4-9 says "But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised [us] up together, and made [us] sit together in heavenly [places] in Christ Jesus:
That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast."

God does love you, he always has. You may think that you are not worthy of God's love. That is the glorious thing about God's grace. None of us are worthy. You may think that you have done things so bad that there is no way God could ever forgive you. That is something the devil wants you to believe. Don't listen to him. Romans 3:23-25 says "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
Whom God hath set forth [to be] a propitiation through faith in His blood, to declare His righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"

How can you take part in this gift that God has offered? . You need to believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for you. Then you need to ask God to forgive you and ask Jesus to be your Savior. When and where can you do this? You can do it right now right where you are.
