I would like to talk to the parents who have kids riding the Greenbrier school bus system.

There are about 50 percent of parents who don’t know the route their child rides to and from school. There are about 97 percent who have never driven the route their child rides to and from school.

The parents who have children in the Wooster area who ride the bus to, ask the school if you don’t know the route your children ride. Then on the weekend, take a few minutes and drive that route.

I’m concerned with the gravel roads especially. I would like for the parents who have children who ride the bus on Miller Road and Care Free Circle in Wooster take this route especially.

I know there are parents who have lived in this area for a number of years who don’t know where Care Free Circle is or have never driven it. I would like for you to see this narrow road that has a ditch that is more than 5 feet deep and a school bus can barely get down this road.

This winter, when snow and ice starts and the bus comes down Care Free Circle and meets a car, something is going to happen. I hope no children get hurt on a bus. I’ve lived on this road for 21 years, and this road has not been well maintained, much less upgraded.

I always thought a road that school buses and the U.S. mail ran on was to be in the best condition possible. Parents, I want you to see this, because you can make this a sage road for your child. I know there is election time coming, but this needs attention now before winter. Parents, come look at this road please.
