I've noticed a bit of strangeness as of late. In the fine city of Mayflower there are 3 gas stations. In the past they have always been relatively in competition (price wise) with Conway and the surrounding areas. However lately all 3 have been running close to 20 cents higher than most of Conway and all 3 have been running identical pricing. The Valero or Crackerbox or whatever it is this month used to always beat the other 2 by at least a penny or two but not any more. It just seems odd that suddenly all 3 of them are matching each others price and running the same amount high. Would this, could this, might this be some sort of a unilateral agreement between the stations to adhere to a fixed price at a higher rate in order to boost profits in a geographic area ? How are prices in other small towns in the area ? (I dont get out much due to the heavy medications and even stronger straps..lol).. But really.. Is they be some shenanigans going on ?

Whatever justification comes out of it, there's a scam in there somewhere.
Could be anything
There was a spike in prices not long ago. Perhaps their last shipment was at the peak of the price right before the drop. They may still have more expensive gas in their tanks which is being depleted at a slower rate because people are waiting until they get into Conway to fill up because it is cheaper. Who knows.
What happened?
To the days where the price between grades was only 10 cents?!?!?! What's up with all this 50 cent difference between reg and premium?
