Glimpse into the future

IF you ever want a glimpse into the gadgets that will one day make our life easier, look no further than your local McDonalds.

Long story short, I was forced to wait at the drive-thru window for about five minutes while the staff fixed a mistake. I did get a peak into the behind the scenes show that I am normally to busy to take a look at.

I was mesmerized by the drink machine. This fully automated machine did everything but put the lid on the cup. It was a neat experience for me. (I guess it doesn't take much to make me happy.)

On the flip side of this happy thought....I entered the dark side. Basically, these employees have very little they are responsible for. (at least at the time they are standing at the window) All I saw her do was put lids on cups, grab the bag & hand to customer. So.....she should be excellent at customer service due to very little stress. Alas, I didn't even get a smile.

Ok, I am done. I just had to get that out. :) Have a good day LCD readers and go check out that drink machine.

That is the last person @ Mickey D's and that is their job gather everything up and make drinks.
So when things were not going well and they were trying to get your order it might have put them out of sorts and they were upset with the situation and not you.
Because of that they might have been distracted from the customer service part of the job, it happens.
Most of the time @ least on Salem Rd I get good service and even when I have to pull over to spot #1 or #2 and wait on my order they are kind and courteous.
