Fear Factor

We've got about 10 days to celebrate Halloween before we turn the seasonal calendar to Christmas. That's right Halloween to Christmas. The day before Black Friday doesn't seem to make the list of 'big' holidays anymore.

It seems the older I get, the less I celebrate Halloween. I fully intend to drag a couple of people to a scary movie and haunted house but my companion pickings are slim.

Haunted houses aren't just for kids and teenagers. So, why is it that most of my adult friends are scared of being scared? Nothing like a few zombies and glass-shattering screams to make you appreciate life.

I've heard talk that we may dress up for Halloween in the office this year. That may be the scariest sight of all.
