If you're an arts and crafts junkie, don't go to the Halter Building.
If you're into painting furniture, don't go to the Halter Building.
If you're someone who tries to tackle one day home projects....ok you get my drift.
The cutest, craftiest, most inspiring chairs are on display in the lobby of the Halter Building on Oak Street. Part of CASA's Festival of Chairs auction in October, the painted and recovered chairs got my creative urges charged up and makes me want to start a do-it-yourself project.
Wanting to do one and actually doing one are two very different things.
My projects usually turn into a hot mess held together with tape, staples and glue. I'll just say that my last one-day diy project took two weeks, two trips to Hobby Lobby and was eventually held together with chopsticks I found in my kitchen.
Maybe this time, I'll just buy a chair and resist the urge to get creative.

...if you want to help a good not-for-profit in our area, DO attend the auction (and maybe even buy a chair).
yes
But do they give money to planned parenthood??
Maybe
You should use a COLD glue gun like Liquid Nails!!!!!
BB = Brilliant
That may be the smartest thing ever commented. A real craft adhesive that will not leave scorched fingers and fine glue strings hanging off projects??? I think I've had a break though; I feel like you really know and understand me! LOL Thanks!
