No, now, wait a minute. Wait a minute, now, I want you to really listen to this because this is important. -- Bill Clinton, DNC
Wait a minute, wait a minute, hold on, one more time...with feeling. --Jon Bon Jovi, Bad Medicine
Four years ago Obama's campaign distanced themselves from the Clintons because when Bill Clinton is around he's the star, not Obama. But last night, President Obama gave Clinton center stage and a dream audience. And Clinton killed it. (That's a good thing.)
How long will the love last? Can Clinton ignite undecided voters with one speech about basic arithmetic and can Obama close the deal tonight?
Best review of the speech came from a CNN reporter who mentioned that Clinton has a habit of playing up half truths and making them into something bigger than they really are/were. Making the mediocre sound groundbreaking and the bad sound worse. Lest we forget, Bill is a politician --he's a great one-- but still a politician.
