“Today, nearly 5.3 million U.S. citizens have been stripped of their voting rights on a temporary or permanent basis, including more than 4.4 million citizens who are no longer incarcerated,”
According to the article about 2 million of those are african-american. Its not even half, but the racist organization NAACP want to make it a race issue. Race is not even implied in the laws that prohibit (ex)felons from voting. the only qualifying deed is to have commited a felony.
And lets assume that race is the issue here. Does anyone actually think that an Arryan Brotherhood member with newly restored voting rights is going to vote for the current president?
It is my opinion that the biggest reason we have racial issues is the paranoia that minorities, and majorities as well, have that they are not going to get their fair share. In those endevours, it actually makes it unfair to most including some minorities that were left out from the greed of another.
In my belief that everyone should suffer any and all consequences due them for breaking a law. If it upsets you so much that you will lose your right to vote, then don't commit a crime. It really is that easy you know.
I don't know why the font is so big, btw.
According to a segment today
on CBS This Morning, there are two states that will decide the presidency!
I’m wondering why anyone outside those states should even bother to vote. If all the other states won’t matter then it’s doubtful any of the (ex) felons vote would either.
Well.........
The UN? Yeah I saw that . Ha ha haha haha ha ha
